Malvern Delivery Areas

Malvern deliver all their buildings using their own fleet of purpose built vehicles throughout England, Wales & Scotland (up to the Caledonian Canal). Delivery is free in England & Wales with a surcharge to Scotland. They offer quality and service that are without equal, delivering and installing direct to the customers homes throughout the UK. Indeed, they are probably the only company who can install the building at the same time, anywhere within England & Wales. The fully trained delivery staff are efficient and courteous.

A Short History of Malvern Garden Buildings

Malvern Garden Buildings were formally known as MPB Garden Buildings (or midland portable buildings). The company was started in 1978 by Doug Pound who was joined by most of the senior management that had been with him during his career at Alton Greenhouses. During the 1970's and '80's The company developed a wide range of high quality domestic garden buildings. There were also a number of different business developments over the years including "Pounds Garden Buildings" and "GBC / Garden Building Centres". None of these divisions continue as part of the group.
During the late 90's Malvern Garden Buildings produced the ' Malvern Collection ' with some major improvements in the specification. During this past decade the improvements have continued on an annual basis and, in addition, there has been the launch of a number of premier product ranges - The Malvern Cottage Cedar Summerhouses and the Malvern Garden Offices.

MPB Garden Buildings is now a member of the Palmer Group of Companies, having been acquired in the early 1990's. Following a comprehensive period of investment, development and sustained growth, they find themselves at the pinnacle of the Garden Building Industry.

Palmer Timber Ltd, the parent company, was established in 1916 and has remained a privately owned company ever since. Operating from their 15 acre site in the West Midlands importing timber from around the world, their reputation for quality is renowned, having one of the most modern milling facilities in the UK. Palmer Timber Limited were recently awarded FSC Chain of Custody to supply sawn and machined timber. The Directors and management of MPB Garden Buildings are extremely experienced and known throughout the trade for their expertise and commitment.

Delivery Times The current expected delivery time is 3-6 weeks subject to location. Please do ask if you require your building sooner and we will try to help.

Please Note: If you are opting for installation, then Malvern insist on a flat level concrete/paving slab base. This must be in place before delivery/installation.

Please Also Note: The facia boards and some other details are regularly modified to keep designs up to date, so those shown in pictures may no longer be available.

Delivery and installation is made by Malvern's own teams of skilled fitters. Lead times (where available) vary and you will be given plenty of notice of the date scheduled for delivery/installation.
